| Lingen Kur - Friday, June 06, 2008Have a look at our video section to see Walero's Kur in Lingen. "First time under spotlights for Walero and he was fabulous" said a very emotional Nicola who is rejoicing after Walero having 2 years off with injury. Unfortunately the video and music do not run at exactly the same time although on the night it was spot on, wonders of modern technology! All results to be posted soon..... |

| Walero has another Baby Brother - Thursday, May 29, 2008On Thursday at 00.50 in the morning Mary, deciding not to be left out, joined Armani in the joke and delivered a brother to Walero. Another sleepless night for John who in between his midwifery duties only has his own Company to run as well.....who needs sleep?
Nicola received a text whilst in Lingen with words to the effect "well you picked a great time to go away" or similar to that anyway!!
* 14/6/08 His very first video appearance can be seen in the Video section read more ... |

| Walero has a Baby Sister!! - Wednesday, May 28, 2008On Wednesday the 28th of May at 9.10 in the morning, Walero's first sister was born. Although not due until next week, we think that Armani (the recipient mare) thought it funny that she wait until the usual midwife (namely Nicola), had driven out of the yard on the way to Lingen with Walero, to choose her time to give birth! Luckily Nicola's husband John was there to give a helping hand and calm the beating hearts of those in the yard who had not witnessed a birth before.
There started a trend.............. read more ... |
| Outstanding Results from Addington Premier League - Monday, May 19, 2008Active Walero has done it again! He won the Grand Prix with 71.52%. | Sunshine in May - Thursday, May 15, 2008The Active Equestrian foals were enjoying the unseasonably warm weather that we have been getting recently! The one causing all of the trouble is Noodle!! Oh and Schanpps the dog is never far from the action.... read more ... |

| Outstanding opportunity to buy the half brother of Active Walero - Thursday, May 01, 2008By the much talked about stallion Hotline (http://video.aol.com/video-detail/stallion-hotline/2482615486) and out of the mother of Active Walero (already the motherline of many graded stallions). Active Hot Stuff is a dark bay colt and was born on the 19th February 2008. He has exceptional conformation and movement and has the elegant and intelligent head of his half brother Walero. He is sure to be a stallion prospect as well as an exciting competition prospect for the future.
The plan is to sell this young colt at the Brightwells Auction for Dressage youngstock and foals on the 5th August 2008. Serious enquiries can be made to us directly beforehand. read more ... |
| Active Scuderia is born! - Tuesday, April 22, 2008Born at 20.30 on the 22nd April. A fabulous bay colt foal by Sir Donnerhall out of Naomi (Escudo x Matcho AA). He was born kicking to get up and within 20 minutes was cantering around the stable. We have decided to name him after the Ferrari Scuderia as he is so fast and lively!! It would also seem fitting as his stable name will be Scud after the missile!! |
| Active Equestrian cancel their plans to compete in Saumur - Monday, April 21, 2008Well we have had to make the hard decision to withdraw Active Walero and therefore also Active Valentino from competing in Saumur CDI this weekend. Active Walero unusually had a reaction to a wormer that we used last week. He immediately went off his food and remained very fussy for 3 days. He generally looked off colour and was lethargic to ride, not ideal preperation for a long journey and then competition. His welfare of course is paramount to anything else and therefore the decision not to go was made. Plans for competing in Addington Premier League and then Lingen (Germany) are now underway. Our apologies go to the organisers of Saumur that we have had to pull out at this late stage. |
| Active Royal Lady wins - Wednesday, April 16, 2008Congratulations to Susie Coleridge Smith who won the Elementary Open with her new ride Active Royal Lady. She won with a staggering 72.84! We wish her continuing success for the coming season. |

| Noodle has been born! - Friday, March 28, 2008Well I definately think we need some help naming our foals! It has been decided to name this lovely bay colt foal Noodle as his full brother born 2 years ago is called Spaghetti Legs! Don Schufro out of Naomi (Escudo x Matcho AA) although this time it was our lovely broodmare Brenda who carried and gave birth to Noodle whlst Naomi is pregnant with a Sir Donnerhall baby. |
| Walero wins International Kur - Tuesday, March 25, 2008Active Walero won the Grand Prix Kur and took second place in the CDI3* at Addington Manor.
